Parts of British Columbia are among the regions eligible for the Livestock Tax Deferral program this year. The deferral program allows producers in the designated areas who are forced to sell all or part of their breeding herds due to extreme weather, such as drought or flooding, to defer some income from those sales.

REACH OUT TO US IF YOU HAVE FEED AVAILABLE OR NEED FEED. This program is intended to link producers experiencing feed shortages with suppliers who have feed available.

BC Cattlemen's Association coordinates various programs which are available specifically to those impacted by disasters and emergency events including wildfires. In addition, provincial and federal programs can assist ranchers before, during and after a wildfire. Read about these resources here.
