Junior Board Member

The BCCA junior board member is a non-voting member of the board representing the youth voice in their zone. The board of directors will review the nominations and elect one youth to serve a one-year term, starting at the AGM. The youth representative will attend board meetings and participate in discussions. They will also be eligible to serve as the provincial Canadian Youth Cattle Council representative on behalf of the BCCA.

Eligibility

The junior representative must be:

• 19-30 years of age
• A BCCA member in good standing
• Living in the zone they are representing

• Zone 3 - Skeena: 2026-27 *Accepting Nominations*
• Zone 4 - Cariboo: 2027-28
• Zone 5 - Thompson: 2028-29
• Zone 6 - Okanagan: 2029-30
• Zone 7 - Kootenay: 2030-31
• Zone 8 - Island: 2031-32
