About the Program The Mountain Pine Beetle Fencing Program is designed to assist producers with replacing range boundaries that have been removed by logging. This program is being delivered by the BC Cattlemen's Association in conjunction with the BC Ministry of Forests & Range.
How to Apply Cattle producers are required to work in partnership with their Ministry of Forests & Range (MOFR) Range Agrologist to complete and submit applications. Applications are completed by the District Range Officer or Range Agrologist.
How are Applications Evaluated Applications are evaluated on a semi-annual basis by the BC Ministry of Forests & Range. Once approved, projects are provided to the BCCA for the fence construction phase of development. If you have any natural barrier breeches, contact your Range Agrologist immediately. All other sources of funding must have been exhausted before being considered for this program.
